On the Shoulders Of Giants

In the far flung future, humanity has spread far beyond earth. Through turmoil and trial, through the rise and fall of emires and kingdoms alike. Following the death of Darius Novas, the founder and leader of the Novas Federation, the galaxy was once again fractured. Stability has once again been achieved- however it is in stagnancy. Conflict is common even over smaller things, the nobility- formed from the bloodlines of notable figures- indulge in excess sheilded from the suffering of the lower classes. The Galaxy, cursed with stagnancy, is churning- motivated by groups most foul.

Once again, the dogs of war rage against their cage as thousands of years of aggression and wrongs beckon the houses to war once again. To unite together, or die alone.

• 3590: The first superclass mech is unveiled.
• 3595: House Canin denies the allegations that they are behind the assassination of House Felin's heir.
• 3596: House Pera Assaults a Kingston planet "Liberating the peaceful citezenry" from Kingston's gene-clinics.
• 3596: The leader of the Novas Federation asks for sit down talks with House Pera and House Kingston, Pera refuses and denounces the Novas Federation.
• 3610: The first deployment of a superclass mech leads to the planet Lav-39 becomming uninhabitable over a 12-hour conflict.
• 3612: Darius' eldest son is assassinated as the Novas Federation recededs into itself, marking the end of the Novas Federation and the beginning of House Novas.
• 3652: A group conducts a cross-house census descovering that the galactic population has decreased 56% since the beginning of what is now known as the Shatter Wars.
• 3670: The Galatic Internet 'burns' as most satilites in the through inhabitted space shut down or overheat. Loosing a large swath of historical records and scientific records. This made existing frabication infrastructure especially important
